This local law is adopted subject to referendum on petition. This local law shall take effect 45 days after adoption or after approval by one affirmative vote of a majority of the qualified voters of the County of Orleans voting on a proposition for its approval, after petition, whichever event first occurs.
This local law is introduced yearly, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, to raise salaries of County Employees that are appointed or elected for a definite term.
